The star has donated the complete sum of his twenty-five thousand pound honor winnings to the Music Venues Trust, which operates to save the UK's small music venues.

The star was given the cheque on mid-October as his new release his work was declared the best record of the past year.

The musician has decided to give the cash to the Music Venues Trust, in appreciation of the vital role small stages had in his beginning days.

"I would not have achieved what I am doing today if it weren't for all the shows I performed around the area, and elsewhere, when I was beginning," said the artist. "These spaces are legendary, but they are facing challenges."

Beginning in 2023, over 150 of these spaces have shut down – about 16% of the entire UK sector.

Over the past year, top acts including Pulp, Coldplay, the singer Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all aided the MVT in its efforts to help venues survive, by adding a small levy to their admission fees, which goes to help local stages.

He also took part, raising in excess of £100,000 on his 2024 arena tour to help numerous grassroots venues across the UK.

The money supported locations that were confronting imminent closure due to difficulties stemming from water damage, blazes and bereavements, as well as regulatory hurdles, court cases and sound issues.

Additional spaces obtained funding support in upgrading facilities and gear that directly benefitted musicians and concertgoers.

"The notion that revenue from performances in large arenas helps the smaller venues, where it all starts for musicians like me, is just logical," the star has stated.

Fender is not the first artist to contribute his award winnings to worthy causes.

When the band won the prize in 1996 for their record Different Class, frontman the singer declared that the group would donate their cash to the organization War Child.

During 2002, musician she divided her prize among a few good causes, including the children's charity and a Sickle Cell organization.

"I also gave a £1,000 to my local community centre, to their classes, because I trained in gymnastics when I was younger and they lacked updated gear," Ms Dynamite told outlets.

Previously, Ezra Collective contributed their funds to the youth organization that developed their act, in addition to other independent music bodies.

Additionally winners that year they contributed their prize to a charity for MS after a acquaintance was found to have the illness.

"Winning was quite enough," stated singer Heather Small. "The money was the bonus but we could do without the cherry, because we had the honor. So our winning affected the lives of others."

Last week, the Music Venues Trust shared it had rescued several small stages in that region, by bringing them into public stewardship.

The first in Southampton and the second in the city were bought under the Own Our Venues program, which is funded by a national body and supporters who acquire "ownership units" in the venues.
